August

August is a custom RuneScape private server built around alternative character progression, regional worlds and original PvM content. Players can access servers in North America, Europe and Oceania. Its features include Olympian raids, encounters with mythological bosses and a talent tree system that allows players to specialize their characters. Additional systems include clue rewards, equipment crafting, pets and global community bonuses. Players choose a progression mode when creating their characters. Skiller and PvMer use x20 experience, Slayer Locked uses x10 and Masochist uses x5. Ironman restrictions are configured separately from these progression choices. The official website provides account registration, launcher downloads and a wiki. The game is available through a Windows installer or a Java launcher for other desktop systems.
